PHANTOM BOROUGH SLUGGERS
The gallery show featured the portraits and artifacts of the fictitious baseball team, the Phantom Borough Sluggers. This group of oddballs shocked the nation by winning the 1976 World Series in their debut season. Then, disaster struck. While celebrating their victory on a team yacht, a submarine miscalculated its ascent to the surface, ramming the yacht and leaving no survivors. The owner disbanded the team, and the Phantom Borough Sluggers slipped into history, forever forgotten.
